Frankie Tocco's has been on my to-do list for a while. I saw the announcement this week that they are closing in two weeks so I figured it was now or never. We went on a Thursday evening and had to wait about 15 minutes for a table. There were two of us and we shared a Frankie's House Salad and a Large Pepperoni Pizza. The salad was great. It has a red vinegar heavy dressing with some sweetness. The provel ropes on the salad were the skinniest ropes I've ever seen. The pizza is good. Thin crisp crust and provel cheese. In my opinion it could have used more sauce but I think that about most St. Louis style pizzas. I'm glad I got to try it before they closed. I hope they enjoy retirement.

After several days of perusing the local eats, I found the jackpot! Great casual atmosphere, come in for a delicious meal or order to go. All the team members here were extremely friendly and helpful a welcome change from everywhere else. Ashley was the shining star who quite literally made my day. Ordered some wine and the toasted ravioli to start. Wine was tasty and the ravioli had a perfect crunch and sauce for dipping. Decided on the Chicken Parm with a side of white sauce pasta and salad. Word to the wise don't miss out on the house salad dressing a red wine vinaigrette that is perfectly balanced and will make your taste buds dance! Their fresh bread with the garlic butter was the icing on the cake to go with this meal. Don't miss this place for a delicious meal and the best service.

If you're looking for St. Louis style pizza on Main Street, this is where you want to go. It's a little old school Italian place not far from Llywelyn's. They're running with a smaller menu than what they had pre-pandemic, but what have is all killer, no filler. Appetizers, Salads, Pizza, Pasta, Chicken and Desserts. S'all Good, Man. Historically they could be a little weird and curmudgeonly about hours. Closed when they felt like it, wouldn't necessarily seat you if they felt like knocking off early. Not sure if they're still doing that, haven't seen any of it lately. If you're the type that has to have everything your way, go to a Burger King. If you want some good Italian from a little family joint where the walls are full of pictures of the family, give this place a shot. They have a cash discount, so bring some.

The only St. Louis style pizza my family from Colorado likes! The owner is really cool and we enjoyed the service immensely.
